About Us
I created Caroline's Yoga so that I could share my knowledge and experience with you, providing you with a challenging yoga practice so you too can feel the amazing benefits.
I make yoga accessible to everyone through a variety of yoga styles from beginners to the more advanced and our class timetable suits all schedules.
In my studio I inspire people to be happier and healthier in everyday life.

New To Yoga
You do not need to be flexible to practice yoga. You will build strength and flexibility and start to feel less stressed.
5 Week beginners courses are a perfect way to start. Spaces are limited so booking is essential.
Each week we recap on the previous learning so don’t panic if you miss one. We take it one step at a time.
This course will teach you all of the basics you will need and give you the confidence to attend any yoga class. Take away the fear of entering a yoga class. I know first-hand how intimidating that first time can be.
Things to know
Wear comfortable exercise clothing. Bring something warm for relaxation, a yoga mat and some water. Take off your socks and shoes; we do yoga in bare feet.
Try to get to the first class early, I like to say Hi, and find out if you have any problem areas. Don’t panic if you are late, just come in roll out your mat and join in. Eat lightly before yoga, no heavy meals.
Switch your mobile to silent.
The start of a yoga journey is a beautiful and special time. If I could sit down and have a chat to every new yogi, here’s what I’d tell them.
1. You don’t get to be a beginner forever. Embrace being a total novice! If I could do my yoga journey all over again, I would have relaxed myself at the beginning.
2. Avoid comparing yourself to others in the room. You’re in your body, on your mat and in your own experience.
3. Your breath is the most important aspect of yoga. If you’ve pushed yourself to get into a pose and your breath is restricted, you’ve lost the yoga.
4. The ability to do pretzel postures does not symbolise an advanced yogi. Breathe, build strength and flexibility.
5. We can store a lot of emotional energy and stress in the physical body, particularly around the hips and shoulders. Yoga is the great release.
6. Backbends are fantastic heart openers, the perfect antidote when we spend the majority of our lives rounding forward to walk, drive, sit at desks, eat and watch TV.
7. Embrace being YOU. Feel good. Rock it!
8. I love this quote by the great Pattabhi Jois “Yoga is 1% theory and 99% practice”. Cultivating a regular practice will have an incredibly positive effect on your life.
9. Always, always, always make time for Savasana. It’s quite common for people to think it’s just a bit of laying down at the end of class, but it’s actually a super-important pose. Where your physical body and nervous system get to relax, and rejuvenate.
